I strongly think this manga doesn’t deserve the popularity it has. You people shouldn’t like this manga, not because of the art, I think is beautiful. It is the plot that bothers me. I know is fiction, but the fact that Erika is a poor girl trapped in a relationship with some dude that’s hot, it doesn’t mean Kyouya is allowed to treat her as a dog, claimimg he OWNS her. Maybe it was kind of funny at the beginning, the fact that Kyouya was seen as a charming prince but deep down he had a terrible personality that, when this was discovered, shocked everyone including Erika. But now the story developed a lot. They started going out for real and all that. Yet Erika doesn’t receive the respect she deserves from him.

Then a new character appeared and he… guess what? Hit her.
So when I read it, the first thing that came into my mind was ‘well, either she’s got bad luck with boys, or likes being badly trated’. And now this is what truly bothers me: yes, she thought (I hope) that what Terapon did was bad, but she is blind when it comes to her boyfriend.

I really want this weak heroine to see that is not right to be someone’s pet. Because underestimate, scorn and treat constantly your gf/bf as an idiot is bad. 

I’m saying all this because sometimes manga boys are idialized by many girls (specially by younger ones). Please don’t take this manga as an example of what an ideal realationship should be. You are nobody’s possession, and you should always, in any circumstance, be treated with the due respect from your bf/gf.

And if the plot in the manga changes and Erika realizes her own value and the right to be treated kindly and be offered support,mplease let me know so I can start reading Ookami Shoujo again.
